Introduction
SSMP is a kind of miniature push in RF coaxial connector, which has the characteristics of small size (compared with SMP), light weight, wide working range, etc. It is applicable to the coupling use of board to board connectors and the occasion of intensive modular installation. The plug has two types of interface: full thread and non threaded hole.
The speciications below are general specifications for all SSMP connectors. Specific specifications for VSWR, Insertion loss, and RF leakage for each connector is available from the factory upon request. Specifications in the following table are recommanded for any procurement documents or drawings.

-Low VSWR through 40 GHz(SMP)/50 GHz(SMPM)
-Female cable connector options available for all flexible cable types .086” diameter and smaller
-All standard SMP/SMPM male connector options available upon request
-Low insertion/extraction forces, compared to standard full detent SMP and SMPM, mean less torque on board mount connector solder joints during mating and demating
-Spring loaded positive mating feature allows excellent electrical performance even in extreme vibration environments
-Low mating forces allow for more mating cycles without failure compared to full detent SMP and SMPM
